Advent Conspiracy

I hope this video impacts you as much as it is impacting our family this year. We found about about Advent Conspiracy last year and hubby and I agree wholeheartedly. Christmas is very different this year as we try and look outward to the needs of those around us. As a whole the family is very excited about giving to those in need this Christmas season. My sweet 4 1/2 yr old has already gathered toys he wants to give to kids who have none and also said he wants to use his Christmas money to get a heifer for kids in other countries who have no food.

For those interested in giving and want to learn about two great projects taht are are on my radar right now. Check out Project 320 and what some bloggers are doing to make an effort to provide clean water. Go here to read the story and get in on the action. Or how about a 8 year old girl, Riley who wants to build wells for clean water. Her family of 6 is eating beans and rice every night for 25 days and donating the money that they save on groceries to The Riley Project. What a sacrifice this family is doing but what an awesome way to be outward focused during this season of more more more and rush rush rush.
