Shutterfly Holiday Cards
I love Christmas photo cards. I love pictures of our family together and the kids and literally months and months before Christmas I get giddy and excited about making and designing our Christmas photo card. I also love getting Christmas photo cards every year in the mail from family and friends. I keep the ones we receive as it is fun to see how how families have grown.
I have looked at Shutterfly in the past and have been very impressed as they have a great selection of Christmas card designs and Invitations for a resonable price. I have always wanted a somewhat unique card that is somewhat custom to my family and our style. Well, this year I am just amazed out all the different cards they offer. There are so many I like that I don't know what I will choose.
I like the color scheme in this one with the mix of black and white and color photos.
I like how this is full photo with the writing through it.
This is a folded card which personalizes your card if you like to write a little something on each card.
I love collage cards a lot since they can show the different faces of your family.

Earth Fare Halloween Event
Earth Fare will be celebrating Halloween with a Costume Contest on Family Dinner Night this Thursday, 10/28. There will be a mystery activity station, kids can reach and feel the “brains, guts, and eyes” in a dark box with various mystery food items and try and guess what the item is.
Plus Earth Fare will be giving out some fun goodie bags. The winner will receive a trophy which entitles the winner to free milk and cookies for life! (as long as they have the trophy with them.)
Kids eat free on Thursdays between 4-8pm with a paying adult meal of $5 or more. You can get up to 6 free kid's meals for each adult meal purchased.

Halloween Treat
These are a sweet and salty Halloween treat. I plan to make them for a little teachers gift and for my kids Halloween parties this week.
Ingredients:
Mini Pretzels (I am using pretzel snaps, shaped like squares, but you could use the twists too.)
Hershey Kisses Hugs (any kind of kisses would do)
Candy Corn
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil. Place pretzels on cookie sheet, not touching. Unwrap Hershey's Kisses and place on top of pretzels and then place filled cookie sheet in oven. Bake for 3-5 minutes but no longer.You will know they are ready when the Hershey Kisses start to get shiny. Take out of oven and gently place candy corn on top of Hershey Kisses, pushing down ever so gently. Cool and then transfer to serving platter or wrap up as gifts. I actually placed mine in the fridge for a few minutes to speed up the cooling process, and it worked perfectly.

Thrifty Craft Tuesday: Halloween or Fall Festival Buckets
Halloween or Fall Festival Buckets
What you will need:
· Plastic buckets (the real deal is to buy these at the end of summer at 75%off)
· Halloween or Fall fabrics in different colors –only a small amount is needed
· Modge Podge glue or Elmer’s glue very watered down
· Fall or Halloween stickers
· Letter stickers
· Different color ribbons
What you will need:

1) Cut 2 -1 ½” strips of fabric. With Modge Podge glue or Elmer’s glue that has been watered down, paint the glue on the top and bottom of bucket, place strips of fabric on top and then paint glue over top of again. You can also use tissue paper instead of fabric. Let dry.
2) While glue is drying, cut remaining fabric and ribbons into strips of different widths but at least 6” long. Once bucket is dried, tie the ribbons and fabric to the handle.
3) Now is the really fun part for kids. Let them decorate the bucket with the stickers and you can even put their name on it. My kids names are on the otherside of the bucket.
4) This idea can also be used for party favors or party activity at birthday parties, as a birthday party gift filled with all the stuff to make the bucket or as a gift bag for a celebration.

Directions
Roll out the crescent rolls on a floured board or counter. Cut them into long strips. Wrap the strips around each hot dog to look like a mummy. Bake in a 350 degree oven until they are golden brown 10-15 minutes. When they come out, use mustard to make two eyes.
For the dipping sauce: Pour ketchup into a small serving dish. Then, make circles in the ketchup with mustard. Take a toothpick, and draw concentric lines from the center to the outside, making it look like a spider web.

Walgreens Register Rewards
Did you know you can use register rewards from Walgreens at Wal-Mart or anywhere else that accepts manufacturer coupons??
I had a run in w/ a guy at Walgreens last week after I told him the whole Register Rewards and coupon policy was very frustrating and quite frankly lame. He said then don't shop here. I said, "Well I am trying to use up the Register Rewards." He said, "You can use them anywhere since they are manufacturer coupons."
I never really noticed it. Then I went to Wal-Mart and used $10 worth of RR toward my Wal-Mart purchase.

A reader told me about going to the Food City Food Show and all the food she got for FREE! Well, you know me and free. I had to go.So the kids and I went this afternoon...It was amazing. Loads of food to sample and take home. They were giving away so much. I was overwhelmed. But we were so happy to fill our tummies.
My daughter loved all the food can you tell?She had quite the spread.
