When I think of stuffing I used to think you would only eat it at a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. But over the last few years I actually use it to make some of my families favorite meals. I would always open a box of Stove Top Stuffing and measure out the amount I needed for the recipe and then I'd have to save the rest for the next meal. Sometimes it would get stale before I made another meal with it. I sometimes would get frustrated because sometimes it was a few Tablespoons or 1/2 cup and I would have a lot left in the box. I never knew what was left and sometimes I'd have to open another box to complete the recipe.
Well, I was so happy when Stove Top Stuffing sent me a 8 oz. canister of StoveTop Stuffing to try. It allows me to cook as little or as much stuffing as I want. These canisters make it easy to make one, two or even four servings in just minutes. You can either cook the stuffing on the stove of course or throw it in the microwave for 2 minutes. How easy it that?
Stove Top Everyday Stuffing Mix comes in chicken and homestyle herb varieties in 8oz or 12 oz resealable canisters. The containers are very handy and keeps the stuffing fresh. StoveTop stuffing is full of flavor and a satisfying side. Stuffing isn’t just a great side, but it makes great recipes as well, from stuffed chicken and pork chops, casseroles and more. You can even add additional ingredients to jazz up a side dish of stuffing by adding nuts, vegetables and fruit. Check out all the recipe ideas at
StoveTop.com I am so happy to have
Stove Top Everyday Stuffing Mix in a canister in my pantry and it will make cooking dinner a lot easier now. No more opening a box and having to save what was left and hope it does not go stale. Or if I need just slightly more than one box, I don’t have to open a whole second box, I can use the flex canister now!
This is my families favorite recipe using Stove Top Stuffing.
Meatballs
3/4 Cup + 2TB Stove Top Stuffing
1/2 Cup Hot Water
1/4 Cup Ranch Dressing
1 Egg
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Cheddar Blend)
Combine stuffing, water, egg, and ranch dressing. Add meat and cheese. Mix well (hands work best!) and shape into at least 2' meatballs. Bake on greased pan at 375 for 30 min. or until cooked through.
This recipe can easily be doubled and the meatballs freeze very well.
