cheesecake-factory KnoxvilleThe Cheesecake Factory, will open its only Knoxville-area location this spring at West Town Mall.

The Cheesecake Factory is known for its extensive menu, generous portions and legendary desserts. The Cheesecake Factory’s menu features more than 200 selections and more than 50 low calorie “SkinnyLicious®” selections – all made fresh, from scratch, in-house – as well as more than 50 signature cheesecakes and desserts.

The West Town Mall location will be an approximately 8,050 square foot restaurant and will accommodate approximately 205 guests. Diners will enjoy the restaurant’s distinctive décor featuring French limestone floors and decorative columns, hand painted murals, contemporary lighting and an abundance of cherry wood. The Cheesecake Factory will be located outside the main entrance of the mall on the Morrell Road side of the property, adjacent to the Tommy Hilfiger store.

“We’re thrilled that The Cheesecake Factory is coming to West Town Mall,” said Abbey Harris, Simon’s area director of marketing and business development. “I know many Knoxville-area residents are familiar with this great concept from traveling in other parts of the U.S. and now to have it in our backyard is truly terrific.”

I’ve never dined there. What is your favorite menu item?

My absolute favorite TCF menu item is the Red Velvet cheesecake – OH-it’s the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. I am not a huge fan of the white chocolate sprinkles/curls on the outside (and I’m a huge white chocolate lover), but the rest of the red velvet cheesecake is simply AMAZING! It’s best eaten at room temperature so if you know you are going to have it for dessert, have them bring it with your waters so you can let is sit in front of you, tempting you the entire meal. My family loves this cake SO much that we spent more than $75.00 to have a whole one delivered to our house last Valentine’s Day. It’s THAT good!
